That’s why from now through April 13, eBay will match your donation—up to $100,000 total—when you list an item through eBay Giving Works and donate a portion of the proceeds to one of four featured charities. Just list an item, select a featured charity, and choose a donation amount between 10-100%. When your item sells, we’ll make the donation on your behalf, and match it! And don’t forget:
- Your donations on eBay are tax deductible. You’ll receive tax receipts from all donations made on eBay, and you can easily keep track of them in your Donation Account through My eBay.
- eBay will credit back a percentage of your fees. When your listings sell, eBay will credit back your basic insertion and final value fees on a sliding scale that’s equal to your donation percentage. This means the more you donate, the more your fees are credited.
